Glacier Blasting & Shoring was contracted to replace a pipeline that had washed out in the 2013 flooding. The challenging terrain, which featured a 37 degree slope proved challenging for the drilling and loading component of the project. However, placing a dozer on top of the hill attached with winch lines to the drill rigs provided sufficient support to commence the drill work. Despite the tough conditions, the project was completed without any safety incidents and consistent ditching was successful.
